The context

Solbois is a parquet flooring company established in the canton of Vaud, in Lausanne and Prilly. A long-standing trade: installing, renovating, and maintaining wood flooring for residential and commercial interiors.

The site’s purpose was never a simple shop window. The company serves two markets in parallel, with very different expectations. Private clients come for inspiration and advice on their project. Real-estate professionals (property managers, architects, project leads) come to manage ongoing work and get a quote fast. One site, two experiences to structure properly.

The challenge

First challenge: editorial consistency. Parquet is a product sold through emotion and material. The site had to spark desire without turning into a technical catalogue. An artisan brand, fully owned, that respects the nobility of wood.

Second challenge: decision support. Choosing a parquet remotely is hard. A light wood species can feel cold in a photo and warm once installed. A Visualizer tool lets the prospect project a species into a typical room before making contact — which pre-qualifies the request and saves time in meetings.

Third challenge: the B2C / B2B duality. Private clients and professionals share neither expectations nor decision paths. The site had to serve both without doubling every screen.

Our approach

The homepage owns its editorial stance from the hero (« Créateurs d’intérieur depuis 2008 »). Content unfolds across several levels of depth: services by category (supply, installation, maintenance, renovation), a four-step method (expertise, measurements, strategy, execution), an inspiration gallery, partners.

The Visualizer is integrated as a pre-qualification tool. The private client tests the species that matches their idea, then reaches out with expectations already formed. On the professional side, the B2B portal is one click away in the nav. It offers ongoing project management, dedicated pricing, and priority handling of requests. The two worlds coexist without friction.

The WhatsApp Business integration and the downloadable vCard simplify contact for both audiences.

The result

A site that serves the brand’s editorial ambition (Swiss craftsmanship, noble material, durability) and works for both markets. Precise traffic and conversion figures will be added here once validated with the client.

What we keep

A B2C + B2B site on the same URL doesn’t require two separate sites. The separation happens through distinct entry journeys from the homepage, CTAs tailored to each profile, and a B2B portal one click away. One brand, two experiences.

When the purchase decision hinges on the material (parquet here, but it holds for many premium products), an interactive visualisation tool reduces friction and pre-qualifies the prospect. The next meeting is shorter and more effective.
