This policy describes how Voren Sàrl processes the personal data collected through the voren.ch website and its tools. It complies with the new Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR).

Data controller

Voren Sàrl
Quai Laval 7
1898 Saint-Gingolph (Valais), Switzerland
Email: contact@voren.ch

Data collected and purposes

  • Contact form: your email address, the name of your company and your message, in order to respond to your enquiry. Along with it, we keep the page of the website you are writing from, the page where your visit began and the name of the website that brought you there (for example a search engine), so that we know which pages bring in enquiries.
  • Business outreach: if you run a company in French-speaking Switzerland, Voren may write to you once to offer you its services. The data used (company name, website address, business email address, sector and locality) comes from publicly available sources (your website, business directories, OpenStreetMap) or from business data providers. If you reply, your message is kept so that we can follow up on the exchange. Every message includes a simple, free way to opt out: just reply “stop”, and nothing more will be sent to you.
  • Diagnostic tool: the address (URL) of the website you enter and, where applicable, the email address you provide, in order to generate the diagnostic report and send it to you.
  • Server logs and audience measurement: collected without cookies, for security purposes, to keep the website running properly and for anonymous traffic statistics.

Legal bases

Depending on the case, processing is based on: the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (quote, diagnosis), the performance of the contract, our legitimate interest (website security, anonymous statistics, responding to your requests) or your consent where it is required.

Recipients and processors

To provide its services, Voren uses technical service providers (processors) that process data on its behalf:

  • Resend: sending emails (diagnostic reports, replies).
  • Neon: database (cache of diagnoses and anti-abuse rate limiting).
  • Hosting and delivery: cloud infrastructure provider handling the hosting and delivery of the website, as well as anonymous audience measurement.
  • Google PageSpeed Insights: technical performance analysis as part of the diagnosis.
  • DataForSEO: technical and visibility analysis as part of the diagnosis, and identification of companies for business outreach.
  • Anthropic: assisted drafting of outreach messages and sorting of the replies received. The content of a reply you send us may be passed on to it for this sole purpose.
  • Infomaniak (Switzerland): email hosting, and therefore the receipt and storage of email exchanges.
  • Google (Gmail): receipt of a copy of the messages sent through the website’s forms.
  • PostHog: audience measurement (page views, clicks, scrolling), anonymous and without cookies; recording of your browsing only if you have accepted it. Data is hosted in the European Union.

Some of these providers are located outside Switzerland and the European Union, in particular in the United States. These transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses and recognised data protection frameworks), in order to ensure an adequate level of protection for your data.

Retention periods

  • Cache of diagnoses: seven (7) days.
  • Prospect and client data: for the duration of the relationship, then archived in accordance with legal retention obligations.

Your rights

In accordance with the nFADP and the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection and data portability. You can exercise these rights with a simple request to contact@voren.ch.

Security

Voren implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. Communication with the website is encrypted (HTTPS).

Cookies and trackers

Audience measurement is anonymous and works without cookies. The website also loads the Google Ads advertising tag, which is used to measure the conversions generated by our ads. It starts in “consent denied” mode: no advertising cookie is set until you have accepted it in the banner shown on your first visit. Your choice is stored in your browser, and declining does not affect how the website works in any way. If you have accepted and then write to us through the form, the email address you enter there is sent to Google in a hashed, unreadable form, in order to link your enquiry to the original ad; without your consent, nothing is sent.

The website also measures its audience with PostHog, anonymously: with no cookie and no persistent identifier, each page view is counted without being linked to the others or to you. If you accept, PostHog stores an identifier in your browser and records your browsing (clicks, scrolling); the fields you fill in are masked and never recorded. If you decline, the measurement stays anonymous, with no cookie and no recording.

Supervisory authority

In Switzerland, the competent supervisory authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). You have the right to lodge a complaint with this authority.

Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in our services or in the legal framework. The version in force is the one published on this page, as of the date shown above.
